Informa Alliances

Informa Alliances is the division of Informa plc which specialises in working with third party organisations. Our London based team is involved mainly in the events side of the business, however we act as the main point of contact for potential partnerships with the entire informa Group. We work closely with our publishing colleagues and have strong links with all the other conference and exhibition teams, both in the UK and overseas.

We invite potential collaborations of any nature and have a wide variety of existing partnerships. Just some of the ways in ways in which the Informa Alliances team work with other organisations are as follows:

Managing events: Clients can tap into our expertise in running events and benefit from our economies of scale by arranging for us to run events on their behalf, either for a fixed management fee or for a negotiated share of the profits.

Creating events for publishers. We work with Publishers to create new events closely associated with their existing publishing brand. As well as a new revenue stream this activity brings considerable spin-off benefits to the clients.

Marketing partnerships. Many organisations approach us because they recognise that having access to our marketing expertise and our global database of event attendees, journal subscribers, and book buyers can make the difference between the success and failure of any campaign.

Training. Through our sister company Falconbury we can develop inhouse management development training programmes to suit your needs. You can attend public courses, hold tailored events in your offices or introduce a distance learning programme for all staff.

Association partnerships. For many years we have worked with associations by managing annual events and publishing their journals. We now have an broader service offering and can take on all aspects of association management - including membership drives and the entire creation of new associations.
